Complex Magazine has named World Famous Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge on of The 25 Best Nightclubs of All Time!
While the music city of Nashville is chock full of honky-tonks for lovers of whiskey, indoor smoking, and two-stepping on to some dude singing about being wronged by a no-good woman, Tootsies stands above the rest. The owner’s namesake lounge was purchased in 1960, and went on to claim some of country music’s most prominent figures, like Willie Nelson and Patsy Cline, among its performers and patrons.
