Keith Urban says that his latest album, Fuse, will get its live debut in three Nashville bars. Urban begins the mini tour Friday, taking the stage at Legends Corner (9:30 PM). Gigs at Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge and the Stage are set to follow later that same night.
The honky-tonk “tour” was announced via a full-page advertisement that ran in Tuesday’s edition of the Tennessean. The performances are open to the public.
Fuse, featuring guest spots from Miranda Lambert and Eric Church, hits shelves on September 10. Pre-orders are available now through Urban’sofficial website.
“It’s been incredibly liberating, creatively, for me,” he says of the new LP. “I don’t know why that is, because I’ve always been fortunate enough to make the records I want to make. I think just working with other people has just been a really enjoyable thing.”
