Nashville honky-tonk institution Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge has made the jump from Lower Broadway to prime-time TV this week, as ABC airs its eighth annual pre-CMA Awards special with anchor Robin Roberts.
“All Access Nashville: Celebrating the CMA Awards with Robin Roberts” was filmed at Tootsie’s on Sunday, and features appearances by Brad Paisley, Carrie Underwood, Reba McEntire, Hunter Hayes, Cassadee Pope, Jake Owen, Lady Antebellum and Dierks Bentley. The one-hour special is scheduled to air 9 p.m. Monday on ABC.
